It's a poorly designed spell.

And I bet the balance is entirely different if played in a different
language. Luckily, common is actually English, in all universes,
everywhere.

Parvati V? What's it like in Italian? AFAIK, mori means both "die!"
and "black men". So there are apparently similar amiguities there.
