not allow for questioning and critical examination.

teachers passing on their own false beliefs as church doctrine.

From my perspective, both are just as bad. They are being taught that these
things are absolutely true, without question.

And it was rare for parents to sit in and see what was going on.

Most Sunday school classes are glorified daycare facilities, with a
indoctrination on the side, in my experience.
