I have never seen convincing evidence that Christianity as originally

I can tell, you must choose between them; certainly, that is how the early

I have seen a fair bit of evidence that Christian churches try to take
on the role that should be given first to Christ. It is the most
fundamental tenet and the one I think most Christians lose sight of. I
truly believe that most of them have a well developed mental image of
Christ and if they behaved in accordance with keeping that image
present, the world would be a better place.

But I don't think that is to the advantage of most churches. As soon as
you have a building and leaders, it changes into an organization and
that "entity" immediately develops it's own priorities that compete with
Christ's message.
