Rubbish. Scientific method is a tool for understanding reality.
That's what it is, that's what it does.

I am a major proponent of the scientific method. I just think
there are aspects of reality that can't be explained by using it. The
spiritual for example.

Stick electrodes on the right spot, or take certain chemicals in the
right company and you'll have all the spiritualism you could imagine and
then some. LSD's supposed to be pretty good there, and much less
dangerous than brain surgery.
