Class as long as race has been, right along with religion,
"color," and national origin.

Then you should be able to cite the specific section and paragraph
of the US Code to back that up.

If you were correct, there would be millions of lawsuits over it,
all the time, as the pay difference between men and women doing the
same jobs is well documented.
