OK, that was amusing, but I'm understandably skeptical about the
existence of such a being ;)
What, our very existence isn't proof enough for you?
John
The spaghetti being didn't reveal itself in order to be
acknowledged; it was the creation of a person's imagination.
Just like Jehova. The Bible is full of contradictions -- quite direct
contradictions -- which make perfect sense if it's a clumsy
transcription/editing of various legends of ancient sheepherders, but
no sense at all if it's supposed to be Revealed Truth from a
supernatural being.
Uh...no.
Well, I think you may want to actually read the Bible before making such
a pronouncement, pardner.
Bible, shmible. I don't hold it as the essential core collection of
writings of my faith. It's more like an atrocity in its current
incarnation.
So you weren't disagreeing that the Bible is full of contradictions?
I am agreeing with your statement 100%.
It has no more actual existence than Cthulhu.
You'll regret those words when the Stars are Right! FluffCthulhu will
see to it.
I'm sure that whatever happens will be to the best of all
possible worlds, as Pangloss would say :)

But what would Pantagruel say?
Aw, jeez...you're gonna make me bust out my Norton Anthology,
aren't ya? :)

Look under "Rabelais." Or, here:

Been so long since I read that...about 20 years now. Thanks for
the refresher!
