Re: Rich Burlew

I still love OotS, I'll still read it faithfully (and buy the books),
and to tell the truth I was never much of a poster on his board anyway
(I went there once to praise Yikyik the kobold, and then Rich went and
killed him off :^(). But reading his long litany of rules actually
irritated me to the point where I wanted to go out of my way to irritate
HIM. Which is the exact opposite of what he wants, I'm sure.

Anyone else want to weigh in on this?

Where are these rules?

Never mind, found them.

They do seem a bit... expansive. In fact, I have this little impulse to
agree heartily that the rules are bull***, in hope you'll try to stir
up trouble, since that might be fun to see...

But really, I don't care much. If I participated actively, I'd probably
try to follow the rules I could keep in mind, but I wouldn't bend over
backwards for it. If that wasn't enough to keep me out of serious
trouble with the mods, I might get annoyed, but I wouldn't worry in
advance. Having a bunch of tiny insignificant little laws and bylaws
usually just means no-one bothers to enforce all of them.
