IIRC the various crocodiles are the most dangerous
predators - killing the most humans each year.

You have a good chance to see or hear a bear or elephant
before you're attacked. Both usually won't attack
without provocation, leaving humans alone if given the choice.

Crocodiles OTOH snatch anything at the bank or entering
the water without warning. They are able to drag even gnus
and buffalos underwater.
