"It's not fair to compare . . ." Keep up.

Which isn't what happened. Which means, it's a strawman, too.

The original strawman. Saying you like one (whether puple novel or
labor of love) over the other (whether labor of love or pulp novel) is
a matter of subjective taste . . . which all reviews are. Saying you
can't compare or like one form of novel to or over another is like
saying you can't compare or like one style of music to or over another.
Or like saying you can't compare a movie to a poem. Or like one over
the other. It's a strawman, and a not particularly effective one, since
it's so blatantly wrong.

That's not quite what happened, either. Did you read this thread? After
you spouted your idiocy about "not fair to compare" he tried to posit a
hypothetical scenario in which it was fair to compare. Which you then
called a strawman.
Funny how only you can be right in this thread.

I'm not jumping up and down anything. You accused Kevin of a strawman
when you failed to understand what he was saying, so I checked around,
and the first person to actually make a strawman in this thread . . .
was you.
If you can handle being a hypocrite, then you should stop posting to
this thread, or at least replying to the relevant posts in it.
Attempting to defend yourself would imply you either can't handle being
a hypocrite or don't see the hypocrisy.
