Well TR sure would have been better if RG could have stuck with his original
design rather than having NC Soft turn it into a glorified WoW with guns :-P

I'm not sure the original design was quite that good either. He made a
point of not trusting conventional wisdom with regard to MMOs and
MUDs, and it seems that maybe conventional wisdom sometimes is there
for a reason. The original design of TR sounded a lot like a glorified
lobby in 3D for an online action game.

What was the original design?
Furthermore, what conventional wisdom are you talking about?

Yes, we all yearn for his Solo CRPGs, like Pagan and Ascension. >:)
Seriously, what was his last *good* game? Serpent Isle?

So it appears, yes. And that was halfway broken as well.
It would be nice to have access to the complete scripting code and at
least get the broken storyline fixed.

Now, back to the diaper department... ::))

Again, already?
