And then... one day I saw on the shelves Dark Shadows. Totally forgot
about that show. Only it was the 3rd DVD set and I had to start with
set 1, so onto My List they went. How many people here are old enough
to remember that? (I mean the original.)
I remember the original. My mom watched it. I just liked Barny the
purple vampire. *sing song* I love your neck, you love my neck...

Well, purple's too pretty for a vampire.
They actually re-ran the series for a year or two in the 80s on one of the
local UHF stations. I tried watching it a bit then, but it seemed too
soap-opera-y to me then. Too much talking and nothing happening. I also
saw the movie with Ben Cross. Ironic name for an actor playing a vampire,
eh?
Does he scare himself?
And Barnabas is cool as hell. I can't imagine
someone else playing him in the revised version.
Not even...Johnny Depp?
Oooooohhhh... that could work.
I heard he was playing Sweeny Todd. Can't wait to see that.
Oh, that reminds me of something else I can post. If I sit here long
enough, maybe I can come up with all kinds of stuff to keep y'all busy
for a while.
I was gonna pull off one of my "don't post for two months and then
return because I need help" posts. Cause I have an html question.
(That's only sorta a computer question.) But I'm going to upload
something first and too lazy to do it right now. So you won't get
bothered with that yet.
