If those aren't PCI slots, they're doing a pretty good imitation of
them, and fit a PCI card. Three PCI slots, 4 ISA. I have been assuming
it's a 486 because Win95 was identifying it as that, but with the case
open in good light its own identification is DX40DPRO100, and appears
to give the Intel copyright date as 1993. I'll see if I can get some
photos of CPU and board when someone with a digital camera gets home.
The board's own number calls it a MB-8433UUD-A version 2, and there's
a page with the layout at http://artofhacking.com/th99/m/A-B/33492.htm
Seems to be capable of supporting a PS/2 mouse too, except I don't
have a plug or know how to wire one up to match the pins if I did. :-/
Heh. Right on the edge, under layers of ribbon cables, there actually
_is_ the PS/2 mouse port. I'd just need to cut a chunk out of the case
itself to access it. It's in a whacked out spot behind the frame and
between the keyboard port and the slots for boards. I might be able to
get this thing running on the KVM switch after all.
Before you hurt yourself with a powered tool, I'd better find that adapter
for you. :-p
