Heh heh, I used to have this woman from Kentucky work for us. She had
lived in Kentucky all her life, so I asked her this question:
How do you pronounce the Capital of Kentuky - Loo-EE-Ville or
Loo-Is-Ville?
She said Loo-ee-ville.
I said, no, it's pronounced Frankfort.
She was disgusted.

That's an old joke. You didn't really do this, did you? Although
it's not unusual to find people not knowing the capital of their own
state.
