After a few tense minutes, the disembodied voice speaks again.

"You may come in," it says. The doors at the end of the corridor glow

Witch Queen said cooly. "So you've decided to work with the cousin

"We shall see about that." said another voice coming out from behind the
mirror

The companions, even though they were disguised as Saihve's Minions,
could not help but gasp at who it was that spoke:

LORD GARGOS!

"Why is it that your servants know about me?" says the voice again, a bit
sharply. "Haven't we agreed to keep my return a secret?"

"I haven't said a word!" says Saihve indignantly. "It must be my foolish
sister. She's the one with the loose tongue in the family."

"No matter," breathes the voice. "Soon, a secret no more."

/We are too late!/ moans Argent. /Gargos has been restored!/

/No!/ says Altheus./Look! Over there!/

The companions' eyes travel across the room to where to where seven shards
float inside the pillars of light. The cup, the dagger, the locket, the book
and one of the orbs have disappeared, leaving behind them nothing but small
clouds of black dust. The other orb is slowly disintegrating as they speak.
But the Dragon Stone remains undiminished and whole.

/He hasn't recovered fully yet!/ says Altheus urgently. /We can still save
the Dragon Stone!/

"But your servants came just in time," continues Gargos, unaware of the
exchange between the "soldiers". "A little tasty snack is just what I need
right now."

"Two meals in one, my love," chuckles Saihve, glancing at Daria. "The soul
of the webweaver, and the soul of the traitor."
