Yes. I couldn't even find the exclaimation marks before the device because
my XP doesn't even aware of it!

It's a combination. My internal reader includes a 7-in-1 memory card
reader thingy plus a floppy drive (so it only uses one 3 1/4" bay) so it
uses both USB and IDE cable. I know it's USB though, because the A: drive
works just fine (though I have no use of it right now).

I found the key under USBSTOR but REGEDIT wouldn't let me delete it....
Wait..., I altered the permission and it's okay now.... I'll try it.
