This past Wednesday, 9/24/08, three Chicago Blaze players (Young,
Pasalic and Tate) appear to have played both their games for the Blaze
starting at 6:30pm and their 7th round game in the 15th North American
FIDE Invitational starting at 6:30pm. Interesting. How did they manage it?
Where was Fischer during the first round of Buenos Aires 1970? And
the second round, for that matter?
How did he manage it?
Don't know. Don't care. It's not relevant to my question of how these
three players managed to simultaneously play for the Blaze and their
games in round 7 of the NA FIDE. It's just a question. How did they,
not Bobby, manage it?
The same way Bobby did.
Further: I'd be hard pressed to name three players in greater Chicago
who care more about chess than Angelo, Mehmed, and Emory. In
particular, two of them approach chess as art and would never do
anything to dishonor the art.
Nobody has said anything about doing anything dishonorable. I asked how
they managed it. You appear not to know anything of relevance as to how
it was managed. Or do you have any factual knowledge you would like to
share rather than merely farting through your mouth?
Mr. Lafferty has a habit of calling the reputation of others into
question, then denying that he called the reputation of others into
question.
1. I have no such habit.

You are entitled to your worldview.

Yada, yada, yada.

2. Please point out the exact words in this thread in which I called
anyone's reputation into question.

See the first post. Your m.o. is to ask "Do you still beat your
wife?" questions, then to deny that the persons whose reputations you
sullied should feel offended.

Wrong. I stated facts as I knew them and asked for an explanation which you obviously could not provide.

Emory Tate is not a perfect person (you may even get him to admit
this!).

I'm not aware of anyone on the planet who is perfect. Thus, your comment is meaningless.

>But he is a genius whose love of the game is infectious, and
he would never do anything over the board to dishonor the game.

If so, why are you defending him so when noting has been imputed to him at all?
