The "impostor" was a good one simply because they used the same
vulgarities, made the same outlandish claims, and generally used the
same syntax as the two that were being parodied. Had Parker and Sloan
not personally posted a "refutation" to the "impostor" I feel that
many, myself included, would have assumed the "impostor" was the real
deal.

My personal opinion of the two posters who were "impersonated" did not
change in the slightest, as I didn't and still don't think very highly
of either of them to begin with based on their rantings, ravings, and
general nonsense posted here and on other groups on a daily basis. My
personal estimation is that neither Sam Sloan or Gordon Roy Parker
(aka "Ray Gordon") had much of a virtual reputation to lose; thus,
neither's was damaged in the slightest.
