Re: GetClub *does* install Active X, says my humble computer

Can you send me the page "url" where you find this activex is
installed?

Secondly is your computer having Java Installed?

Install latest Java from: http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp

So that Latest version of Java is present.

But the main difference I see from my old setup is
the numerous security "features", just one of which is
automatic blocking of GetClub's attempts to install a
"dangerous" Active X control.   Sanny claims his site
does not do this, but my machine never lies (compare
and contrast)... .

Its not activex But a Javascript. Enable Javascript that will solve
the Problem.

And allow Java in Internet Options See Java is Checked after Install
is complete.

My guess is that the site uses an Active X control to
launch or install the Java applet, or perhaps for the
purpose of opening pop-up windows during play-- an
effective measure designed to punish good moves,
but ineffective again me for the obvious reason that
I rarely make them.

Its not activex But a Javascript that launch a popup window. "Allow
Popup" and see if it works now.

In any case, I have not had any problems since my
reinstall with other Web sites, only with GetClub; so
then, what is the obvious conclusion here?

Do you able to load Applets on other sites?

Bye
Sanny
