: Chesslib's main database, ECO A00 - E99 will be back online in a few
days -
: this time for free, but only in
: PGN-format.

Thanks for the heads up. Is that all 3.5+ million games? Also what is the
last update included, and what about future updates?

Yes, it will be the complete main data base, > 3 700 000 games, with all
updates included.

Working on a new opening book, my time for database maintains is a little
limited at the moment, so please do not expect updates in 2006.
However, if anyone volunteers to do the work. :-) - that can change.

The database is divided in to 4 files, part #1of4 and #2of4 will be
available for download in a few minutes, part #3 around midnight
(Norwegian time) and #4 when ready tomorrow.
