Yes, this one has a good feedback, but the GUI does not please me much.
And there were no more updates since 2003 or so. Functionality like creating
special books and so on seems not so good like in cb.
Its not the money that matters, playing tournaments, you know the best tools
are hardly good enough. Yust show me the best.

Whats about this one ?
Does it help to improve playing strength for advanced players or more for
beginners ?

Yes the later versions support this one but even so, if you just want to
play
some grazy games, a prompt start within one or two seconds is great.

I agree, but i will stay with my bugfixed cb8, the corrupted databases i can
fix with fritz.
The integrity-check within cb does not work alway properly. But after nearly
10years
with cb, i'm still hoping it comes back to quality one day.

Maybe i didnt ckeck all functionality of scid but my first impression was,
you dont really can do a lot with it or am i wrong with my mind ?
