Playing 2/1 game force, how do you think the auction should proceed at
matchpoints?

Well, I'm feeling a tad slammish on this hand as responder, and when
partner bids clubs, I feel pretty good as opener. Three clubs to
the AK? A sidesuit stiff? Among my weird ideas is "support with
support. I'm just barely not up to splintering... or maybe I am.

3D is a splinter, you get cubeids, including a mixed-cuebid-offer-to-
play in 4 Spades, at which point opener shoots 6 clubs.
If you are stiodgy and want to be in your magnificent 6-card spade
suit against, say, Jx, you may rebid them. This would lead to a
rather more convoluted auction that either dies or goes off the rails.

5H ??
And now what? 3 Hearts followed by 4 clubs establishes a force.
All of this means simply this: support with support.
