It is hardly the poster's fault if people use inefficient newsreaders. Whether Google is efficient or not I cannot say, but his post was reasonable and followed normal Usenet conventions. If you want us to quote everything that went before that is totally unreasonable and not good. If you have not been reading the thread or are not able to, sorry, but that is not reason not to snip posts.
