3C is strong (game forcing). Opponents are silent.

3D, nothing else actually. I might bid 3nt in a weak field, but all
thinks being equal it is the most flexible responce. If partner now
bids 4C, slam is a pretty good shot. If he bids 3H/S then I will
settle for 3nt. If my dear partner bids 4D, then we are really going
places.
