Opponents silent. Opener is in second seat.

What has each partner shown? What is 5H?

1C - 1S
1NT - 2D! (NMF)
2H - 5H

It is hard to judge what is partner's intent unless:

1. You give opener's hand
2. You tell us what bids were available after 2H.
In particular is 3H forcing after 2H?

Next, you start by listing all the possible meanings 5H could be in
this context.
Then you logically start eliminating meanings based upon your hand and
what other
alternatives partner had to ferret out information.

So what was opener's hand?
