(b) The standard treatment showing weak / strong 5-5 in minors or
majors is low frequency also.
(c) Lonely Major Transfer: 1NT - 3H = 4S & GF is slightly better.

Does anyone have other ideas for use at pairs with better frequency?

I cringe when someone refers to a non-standard treatment as "standard"
without qualification. Treatment (b) may be Bridge World Standard, but
it is certainly not Standard American, Standard American Yellow Card,
or Standard Acol. It's also a silly use of 3H and 3S IMO since
1NT-2D-2H-2S shows 5-5 invitational and 1NT-2H-2S-3H shows 5-5
game-forcing (in SA or SAYC, but not Acol) -- with 5-4, you'd begin
with Stayman.
I use all four jumps as single-suited slam tries. The BWS method of
transfer, then 4NT or 4 of the major wastes all the bidding space below
game. 1NT-3H leaves an entire level for cue-bidding. 5332 hands with
about 15 points, and 6322 with about 13 are at least as common as any
of the other treatments you list. 5-5 GF with minors can be handled as
an adjunct to the 2S response. (Note that 1NT-3H or 3S suggests no
singleton since you can handle 5431 by Stayman if the second suit is a
major or transfer, then bid the 4-card suit if it is a minor, and 6331
can be handled by transfer, then self-splinter.) I use the minor jumps
the same way as the majors mostly for simplicity, wuith the advantage
that Stayman, then 3 of a minor promises 2 suits, possibly both minors.
After 1NT-3H or 3S, opener cue-bids his cheapest Ace or King, with the
proviso that he must have trump key card to cue-bid a King. 3NT by
either player warns of a possible 7-card fit: 1NT-3S-3NT "I have only 2
spades"; 1NT-3H-3S-3NT "I have only 5 hearts". Any cue-bid at the
4-level normally confirms an 8-card fit, except that a very strong
responder (unwilling to be passed at 3NT after 1NT-3H-3S) can continue
cue-bidding and later offer a choice of slams by way of 5NT if
convenient.
As for the splinter hands, I'm sure those are nice when they come up,
but the frequency is low and you can usually reach the proper spot via
Stayman. It is important to have an explicit slam try after you find a
fit with Stayman -- I use 3 of the other major.
