Despite being 5-5, this *is* a single-suited hand IMO.
If partner has a stiff heart, and Qxx in diamonds, which trump suit is
more likely to have a loser? You are unlikely to ruff any
non-diamonds in partner's hand. It is hard to come up with hands that
play better in diamonds, and easy to come up with hands that play
worse in diamonds where partner would have a clear preference for
diamonds. Why offer partner a choice s/he is likely to get wrong?
