I expect better than this from a MSC editor. He was right. Agree
suits before cuebidding (although I think a suit oriented hand with 3
clubs can advance cue). Your sequence is consistent with Jxx, Kx,
AKxx, KQxx - 4H is a cuebid in support of clubs, showing that key
filler.
He was also correct in that anything other than an immediate 3H/3NT/4H
call agrees clubs in Standard American Bidding, although most folks who
play standard american don't know very much of it.
