It speaks volumes about the US game that someone who hosts a bridge
website of such quality as yours has never had occasion to mention
psychs. I once played in an ACBL game where we were told in the TD's
preliminary 'good clean fight' speech that anyone psyching three times
would be - and I quote - "out". This seemed to include bona fide
mistakes (because anyone can say that).

Just a moment! I suggest you adhere to US usage, because I think this
is one one of the rare occasions where it is superior to UK usage. And
I would dispute in any case that 'psyche' *is* UK usage, it is only the
EBU's in-house usage.
