Yes, and that's fine. But IMO he had no right to then conclude that
"Sudoku sucks." It's still challenging and enjoyable for many people
to do, without the aid of computers.
His conclusion is like saying it's a waste of time to teach arithmetic
in schools, since electronic calculators are so prevalent.
Maybe I'm wrong, but I think it's still valuable to know how to do
arithmetic without resorting to an electronic device.
