?Value of FULL METAL PLANETE

I was recently approached by a friend of a lady whose boardgaming
husband has recently died and who unfortunately lives nowhere near me.
(I should mention that this is in the UK) Since her husband had
derived so much pleasure from boardgaming she wished to pass his games
onto a fellow enthusiast as opposed to taking them along to the local
charity shop. One has to assume that she no longer has contact with
his gaming friends because although I do not know her I was asked if I
could help at all.

Of course, I said "yes", but when I received the list I found that many
of the games were unremarkable and quite old (not so old as to be in a
'collector' category). Nearly all are reasonably easily still
obtainable. (There was only one fairly recent game, which was SETTLERS
OF CATAN) Recognising the problems she would face in packing up
individual games to send out - assuming that there was something there
that somebody was keen to obtain, which I doubted - I said it would
probably be better to offer the lot to a local games group, which I
would find out for her. Other than that, the local charity shop as
she suggested was probably the best bet.

However, there was one exception to the above. There was a copy of
FULL METAL PLANETE. Although I had no detailed knowledge I felt that
this could be a game that was in demand so I said I would do my best to
find out more information. I've checked on eBay but that didn't help.

I would like to give her an idea of what this game is worth (assuming
there is a demand for it) so that she can then decide what she prefers
to do with it. She might, of course, still be happy to pass it over to
the local games group but that's her decision. (I should add that I've
no idea of the condition of any of the games)

So if you have any knowledge of the demand/value of this one game I'd
be grateful to hear. I will then pass the information on to her.

Thanks

Derek
