All I can say is that for a limited period of time I more or less
tripled up at one site (or possibly I was combining all the sites,

for small stakes (overall), I would say I've broken out even. I
haven't kept track, so I'm just guessing. I intend to keep playing 1
pointers to determine if it's worthwhile.

What would make it worthwhile?

However, my opinion of
whether it is worthwhile is subjective, and if someone wants to "make
a living" at onling BG, he or she will likely be playing against much
stronger competition, so I don't think my "experiment" is much more
than an academic exercise, at best. It is meaningful to me, and so
others can derive whatever they like (if anything) from it.

What is the purpose of your experiment? Don't you already know that
playing one pointers maximizes the luck element? You need to play
longer matches to minimize luck. How much experimenting do you need to
do to figure that out?

You already found that playing nine pointers against weak opponents
was not "worthwhile". Why do you think one pointers would make it more
worthwhile?
