Only if the reader is very childish, with no conception of
the idea that people can debate issues trying to find the
truth of the matter, that being what both parties want.

Also in cases where somebody has a "pencil ***" and goes on
to get a PHD just to call others "math weenies"...

Giggle. When you say this sort of thing you really do remind
me of a certain wacko over on the sci.* side. He's always
warning students not to believe the things their evil math
professors tell them, because they lie about math.

_He_ thinks he's slapping us all silly too. He thinks
