in ONE word: ADVERTISING
Besides GE/Play65 and PartyGammon NONE of the existing servers has
realized that the ONLY factor that makes the difference is the amount
of advertising they run
GE occupied the entire web with banners, PG runs TV spots worldwide,
all other servers restrict their advertising to money giveaways in
bonuses and freerolls, with a few exceptions of servers sponsoring
live events
Side note:
Money giveaways is NO advertising! It feeds vultures without any
lasting effect
Whether the software is real great and comfortable or plain junk,
whether the rake is modest or comes close to open street robbery,
whether they are reliable or known for refusing to pay out, makes no
difference whatsoever
Only if 2 servers run about the same (huge) amount of advertising,
then the quality of their software and comfort of gameplay matters
(rake and reliable payouts are meaningless for fish who never cash
out), which is why GE keeps a huge lead before PG
.
