Huh??

Where did I misquote anything?

In the message-IDs where Indramus called you out, and I also mentioned
at the bottom of my own post.

I think *you* need to read what is actually being written.
I requote my response to Indramus:

"The concrete assertion I wanted to highlight, is the REAL POSSIBILITY
that the servers could manipulate games by software if they wanted to."

Below that, I explained the phrase I left out did not affect at all the
concept I was highlighting. That Neil "strongly doubts" tricks are
occurring at present, does not counter in the least that he's "strongly
convinced" they did occur to him and several friends.
THIS is the concept which I agree with him.

We both are virtually saying the same.

Ahh, but "virtually the same" is not "the same", now is it, Gruntie?

I used the word "virtually" somehow as opposed to "literally".
I hope you didn't expect both Neil's and my writings to "literally"
match each other, in order to show coincidence in contents...

We didn't coincide on the actual servers being referred to,

Meaning that you're not saying the same thing, right?

I know you are not this stupid.

but that
isn't the point. The point is that, in our view:
MANIPULATION IS TECHNICALLY POSSIBLE, AND IT DID OCCUR IN SOME SERVER,
AT A NOTICEABLE FREQUENCE.

And yet you still avoid making any attempt to actually prove this.

Why?

Neither Neil nor me are attempting to prove any case here.
We're just describing observations we both made on different servers,
and the subsequent conclusions we drew from that.
It happens that these observations and conclusions did coincide. They
coincided in concept - of course not in the actual places and times.

But you are spending all your time misquoting him in an attempt to
portray that he is supporting your opinion that it's happening right
now... when in several places, he says he absolutely does NOT think it
is happening on any current servers.

When I claim to have been supported by Neil's conclusions, I'm
referring to the kind of features being discussed and the reasons
behind these.

I no-where said he was agreeing with my *actual* case - namely, tmg and
some other server. He was explicit on that.
But even though on another server and time, he did spot the same type
of distortions and came to same conclusions as myself. THIS is where
his conclusions support my own.
Yet I don't agree with his "strong doubt" that tricks are going on at
present.

Again, what I agree with Neil is his explicitly declared belief that
MANIPULATION IS TECHNICALLY POSSIBLE, AND IT DID OCCUR IN SOME
SERVER, AT A NOTICEABLE FREQUENCE.

Really, this just doesn't help your case, Grunty. If I were you I'd
leave off trying to twist others' words to garner perceived support and
start recording some matches.

You were twisting my words.
