Re: Remember Inventor?

Hope all is well with you, but I don't need your domain, good luck with it.

Hi, a few years ago I won the rec.gambling.sports NFL competition. I
have gotten out of sports prediction out of sheer boredom and
especially when the contest stopped. Although I have not re-lurked
and am not aware of the current state of affairs in
rec.gambling.sports, I would like to say hello and also make an offer
to the right person.

The offer is that I am looking for someone to take over my sports
prediction web site and develop it into whatever they want, be it
profit based or not. Even though I currently have not updated the
site in about two or three years, I continue to get close to 1,000
hits a month and 1 to 2 downloads of my software per day. So the site
remains active despite not being updated in years.

It also works. In pretend bets I was able to triple my pretend
initial investment by using the software and betting wisely. Of
course, I blew all the profits on stupid exploratory pretend baseball
bets, but hey I'm no gambling expert - just a guy who knows computer
algorithms fairly well. My records show that the system has a greater
than 52.5% success rate, which is about what you need to break even
with a 10% vig (do the math and you'll see that it's true).

The site is totally non-profit and just for fun, but I'm sure that a
web-savvy capper could develop it into a for-profit web site if so
desired. In addition to having fun and winning yourself, I will hand
over to you the Jacqueline program which won the rec.gambling.sports
NFL competition that year.

Overall my experience in pretend wagering with the folks at
rec.gambling.sports was a lot of fun, but truth be told I am into
music these days. I create my own music and have a weekly internet
radio show on iTunes, plus I belong to a wonderfully friendly
community of online musicians. So my mojo has gone elsewhere and I'd
be happy to pass the torch to whoever wants to take it over, be that
an individual or a group.

So... If you are interested in my offer, or if you would just like to
say hello, pleas contact me via email. It will be nice to hear from
you. Best wishes and good luck to all!
