Re: OT: RGS POLL

1. Yes - Sirius (2-receivers)
a. My Honda came with a tape player, I decided to by an indash
system that happened to include a Sirius. I subscribed and then right
after Stern came to Sirius I bought another one for the home and office
as my car Sirius was integrated into the actual receiver and was
non-transportable.

b. Sirius only

c. The signal in the car is always 99.99%. Occasionally if you
are stuck under a drive through overhang or under a bridge/overpass it
will fade for a second. Over satisfied. If you get one for the
office, may sure you are near a northwest window.

d. Sound quality is excellent. When I switch to my tuner to
listen to the traffic reports (I am not currently in a city Sirius
covers for traffic) there is a noticable difference between the digital
quality and the over-the-air FM/AM.

e. The programming is excellent. Not only do I get Stern and
Bubba, you get NFL, NHL, NBA and lots of college fb/bb. Only thing you
don't get is MLB which is on XM. Music is abundant, I listen to mostly
first wave and grunge alternative. I know XM has a station called
"Lucy" which I like better than my current Sirius alternative channel,
I get XM on my Directv subscription. (As a side note, if you have
Directv you get XM's music, if you have Dish you get Sirius.)

2. I don't know Sound of Silence, however, as a first wave alternative
guy, I "Enjoy the Silence" via Depeche Mode :)

Hope this helps you out. Later.

1) Do you presently subscribe to satellite radio?

If Yes, you presently subscribe:

a) How did you become a subscriber?
1) Radio and subscription came with new car.
2) Radio came with new car, paid for subscription.
3) Went to electronic retailer and purchased a receiver and then
a subscription.

b) Do you subscribe to XM, Sirius or both?

c) Are you satisfied with the signal/reception?

d) Are you satisfied with the sound quality?

e) Are you satisfied with the programming?

If No, you don't presently subscribe:

a) Do you wish you had satellite radio and plan on getting hooked up
soon?

b) Do you already have a preference, XM or Sirius?

2) Do you remember who Mathew Hayden aka "Sound of Silence" is?

Enjoy!
