NFL:
Pitt/Indy Over 47
I tend to bet unders and when I do I look for a team that will
basically dominate the other on D and hold them to single digits. This
leads to a game where the dominant team pisses away the clock while the
other can't do squat (alot of examples lately, eh?) You don't want to
take the under in any game where the teams can trade tds (now... ask me
why I took Indy/Cinci Under last week???? Stupid stupid stupid
wagerline consensus fade BS!)
In this game we have two top notch QBs with excellent supporting
skill position players. The Ds are good, but both Os will move the
ball and score tds. Cinci exposed some of Indy's D holes (which were
not obvious when they were playing shitty teams...) Pitt's run D is
still great, but Indy will pass on them effectively and then run in the
second half. Indy gets 30+ again and Pitt about 20-28?
Some #s... Indy has averaged 40 pts the last 5 games and scored 28+
for 7 in a row!! This is the most dangerous offense in the league.
But they've also given up 17+ the last 5 in a row. With Ben healthy
Pitt has scored 17+ in every game.
(Rothlesburger is a very good QB, but I have a hard time betting
against Indy... Several weeks ago I wrote a note to self: "DO NOT BET
AGAINST Indy." Last week I took the Bengals +5 ...arrgggh.)
