OT: ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity -- New iPad Killer

Well, ASUS is finally releasing the tablet I have been waiting for,
the Asus Transformer Pad Infinity.

This is a new iPad killer, because this tablet exceeds the
specifications of the new iPad in virtually every respect.

The screen resolution is only 1920x1200, compared to 2048x1536 for the
iPad, but the main point of a high resolution screen is to watch HD
video, which is 1920x1080, so the ASUS tablet can show an HD video
without the scaling necessary with the iPad.

The iPad screen is IPS, while the ASUS screen is Super IPS+.
Advantage ASUS.

Apple is sticking with a dual-core 1 Ghz Apple A5X CPU, while the ASUS
tablet has a true quad-core nVidia Tegra 3 CPU running at 1.6 Ghz.
And the nVidia chip blows the Apple chip out of the water --

OMFG! The ASUS tablet is at least two generations ahead of the new
iPad in raw CPU power.

The ASUS tablet has an 8 megapixel rear camera and a 2 megapixel front
camera. The new iPad has a 5 megapixel rear camera and a 0.3
megapixel front camera. Again, advantage ASUS.

The ASUS tablet has an HDMI port for viewing videos on an HDTV, and a
USB port for hooking up a wide variety of peripherals. I am not sure
the new iPad has either of these ports.

The ASUS tablet has a keyboard docking station with its own battery
which extends the life of the tablet's battery. I don't know whether
such a docking station is available for the new iPad.

And the ASUS tablet supports Flash!!! Suck it, Steve Jobs.

Both tablets will sell for around $600 in the 32 Gb Wifi version.

If you are not an Apple fanboi, the new ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity
is the logical choice for a high-end tablet.

The ASUS tablet is expected to go on sale in late June or early July.
