It's a little harder to answer the question: How much should be enough?

It's human nature to desire things and want more than is really necessary..
So a Spartan outlook would imply that the bare necessities should be enough.
Enough food to maintain health and not go hungry. Enough lodging to be
comfortable. Enough access to resources (such as healthcare) to
avoid/alleviate suffering.
