Yep and I am storing what i can to get through that time and then
still have something of value that time is over.
Try using a Federal Reserve Note for anything besides toilet paper if
that time ever comes.

Do you seriously think you cannot use your wealth to get you far more
useful
assets if you're this concerned?
How much farmland do you have?
Enough. I have a nice place, fruit trees, big garden spot, room for
livestock. But farmland isn't liquid, it isn't portable, and I don't
want to barter away an acre at a time. Kinda hard to make change with
farm land.

Rent it out for 25% of the crops produced.
You have any idea how to butcher an animal? Hitch a horse (or oxen) to a
plow?
Did you WATCH that vid?- Hide quoted text -

If you knew how many animals I have butchered you wouldn't even ask.
No need to hitch a horse. I have a nice small diesel tractor. I am
the role model for Hank Jr's song "A Country Boy Can Survive'
***
How many tankertrucks full?
How many spare parts?
***
Millions of people still know how to get by. I have a small diesel
generator that will provide power when I need it. I know how to can
food and smoke meats I have raised crops, gardens, cattle, horses
goats and sheep. I don't live in the Northeast where no one has a
clue how to do these things anymore. I have 2 grown sons that can do
all that and more. I have a daughter that is an RN. IF the collpase
ever happens, we will be ok.
***
Go plow your fields with the tractor. Then look at how much fuel you burned.
Run your generator for a day. Look at the fuel consumption.
LOL. I know exactly how much fuel it takes. I take that into
consideration.
I have spares, I'm a good mechanic.
Your hypothesis is that the dollar collapses. Why would anyone go to any
service job if there's a real chance they won't get paid and they might
starve?
Because the guy who can weld a broken wheel or make a new firing pin
will be paid. Food, other essentials, silver, whatever. His services
will be valuable.
***
Buying silver and gold is just a part of being prepared. Why
wouldn't a prudent person be diversified in his approach to being
prepared/
***
I insure against things I can recover from.
I don't waste money on things that will surely kill me and my entire family,
slow or fast.
So your preparations are the same as turbo's. Tuck your tail and wait
to die.
That's ok, Every one of you reduces the number of people starving and
asking for handouts.
