BTW, they gave me plavix AFTER angioplasty ,not before, and for me it was
useless.The stents filled in with scar tissue in about 3months, as did the
stents they then put inside the stents.

So no I have a completely blocked main artery but capillaries have
expanded and extended, keeping me alive.

Funny you mention that. When I was on the gurney waiting to go back to my
hospital room to await the other surgery that I was being "cleared for"
they showed me my films and showed me that there were two vessels actually
doing exactly that, extending over toward other arteries. Strange stuff.
I thought I misunderstood ( I was on IV Dilautid at the time) but now I
guess I heard right :)
