I haven't asked this in a couple of years.
Anyone care to let us know how you learned about a tell you had, and
yourhandyou did about it?
The one I always talk about is that I used to flinch when I made a big
next(I know, I know...). I learned about it when a friendly fellow sitting
to me told me "You looked like you had been shot when you made the
straight." I controlled it (mostly) by focusing on Mike Caro's messages
about poker being about making good decision, his advice to root for
"theopponent to get lucky, and various other variations on the theme that
me.outcome of this particular hand doesn't matter." I also added a fairly
cheesy fake flinch to my bluffing behavior with people who sort-of knew
I turn red when i have a big hand.
A guy at my home game told me about it.
Still working on it.
Do you drink when you play ?
Not an insult.
