Mine is this one: I once stated amongst a large group my opinion that
among, if not the greatest, disasters that could befall the world would be
if Save the Children actually managed to save all the children. That
created a firestorm of disapproval and disdain and shuddering dismissal.
I was roundly condemned. Yet, think of what would happen in 20 years if
they actually managed to save all of the children today. To my mind it
would be a catastrophe, hardly needing explanation, yet no one wanted to
even consider it.

Do away with the death penality because it costs more than life in prision.
Also they need to suffer as long as possible for their crimes.
When someone gets life they spend life period no early outs.
Also those that get life get locked under ground in a huge cavern with all
the other bad ass lifers with no guards. Only food would be passed in.
They would have their own little world and their own little rules. To male
it clear only lifers get put there not someone that gets 200 years. That
way we still have a bargain tool against them in capture and court. If
they give up they cant get life but could get a ton of years. Hope you
understand the difference.
Well Arlo, while I share your disdain for those who commit crimes bad
enough to be sentenced to life in prision, I seriously doubt it costs more
to kill them than to feed, house and cloth them for the rest of their
lives. How about we do away with life in prison and replace it with the
death penalty. If sentenced to death, the person is given five minutes to
make peace with what ever God or non-God he chooses and then he is shot
once in the head and once in the heart with hollow-point rounds from close
range. Make it a requirement that if a person is sentenced to death and
is not killed within 24 hours, the judge, prosecutor and prison warden
also receive the death penalty. I guarantee two things: first, it would
greatly reduce expenses and second, it would eliminate repeat offenders.

So where does the authortiy come from to kill people? Where would that
leave you if the Vietnamese people were judge and jury?
Another unpopular opinion: All prisons should be eliminated. Instead,
people found guilty of crimes should be banished to seperated lands.
The murderers with murderers and thieves with theives. We should
airlift seed, cattle and farm equipment enough to ensure they have the
possibility to survive.
