Texas came out today for the proper application of the 10th amendment

Let's see, they wear grey and the other guys wear blue? No, actually,
most of them wear butternut brown and the other guys wear blue. And
thousands and thousands on both sides die on the battlefield and even
more in the hospitals. And then, when it's over the Tenth Amendment
doesn't get mentioned anymore? Because the states wanted to grant some
people the right to own other people.
Oh, we did that already.
And the next time they brought it up they wanted to treat some of
their citizens like dog*** and force people to discriminate against
other people. And the next time they brought it up...
Limiting the power of all governments over individuals is a noble
goal. The states have never been a force in that direction. Let's
celebrate the Ninth Amendment and see that IT is honored.

I have no opinion on this piece. I do have an opinion on the picture
that goes with the article. Lots of old white guys and one woman who
looks like she might have some color. So these are the people who want
to supercede the Feds
No matter how bad the cause, you can make an argument agains it that
makes no sense at all. Are you planning to try to disenfranchise old
white guys? Does an idea need support from a certain minimum number of
ethnic groups to be any good?
I'm still against the whole thing but youre point is so stupid that it
makes me less interested.
