Re: OT: Even discussing IQs in the range of 200 is absurd

Would one of you please wake up and smell the PROBABILITY function,
which is
not an ACTUALITY function?

No number of standard deviations rules out even a 400 IQ, let alone a
200.

Further, the normal distribution is infinite in all directions,
supposedly,
although, say, not many are -100.

What you're suggesting is absurd.

Your ignorance is at least +3 sd.

A probability distribution is theoretical.

And the population in question does not all have to be accurately
measureable.

The characteristic we try to measure and our measurements are two different
things.

In order to credit someone with a 400
IQ, you would have had to find massive alien civilizations to norm your
test against, just to get enough bodies to serve as points of comparison.
The absurdity of this should be obvious.

Or put another way, how would you tell a mere 10 std. deviation genius
from a far superior 12 std. deviation genius? Who would you compare them
to?

Me or Wilhelm Kuhlmann.

lol

Or we could ask them to provide a good measurement; even if we didn't know
just how many SDs plus either was, we might figure out that they were
somewhere above the median.
