Re: MODERN POKER STRATEGY ?? R U SERIOUS?

Up until the 60s, you could look into many card rooms and see the
action going in California because of the windows. It was the only
state besides Nevada that had legalized poker games. However, after a
drive by shooting into the casino's at Gardena, they eliminated the
windows and you couldn't see in.

Fights in casino? If I've see 1, I've seen 100. Best to not even
defend yourself, as if you do, they charge you with fighting also. The
other way, the other person is barred and you have a lawsuit. I've
even enticed people to hit me, as the camera's can't hear what's being
stated. The casinos have security which is supposed to act is a speedy
matter. The average I made off every punch I took I would say was
about $20,000. I never lost a lawsuit with a casino.

Poker players can be an extremely unpleasant bunch, and
surrounding myself with them every day just didn't contribute

I saw one fight at Commerce, two guys who had to be in their 50s and
had thick accents (Armenian or Russian maybe). Both were wearing
rings and it was ugly. Whole table stood back in a kind of shock (I
was worried about my chips).

Evidently, that wasn't an isolated event.
