You're not making an argument here, just dismissing mine out of hand.

It's sort of the conversational equivalent of, "Well, oh yeah? So
there."

The history of geologists is rife with dismissals of seemingly absurd
ideas, that later became accepted as true, by the scientific
establishment, and I listed a few of them.

Probably most of the controversial ideas being proposed today will be
judged as utter hogwash when further evidence comes forth. But some
of them may well become the accepted norm, just as tectonic plate
theory has.
