Those things are in somewhat different category, but nonetheless, yes.

over his head, and a decent meal.

But not clothing. We need to see more people going around nekkid.
Used clothing is very cheap.
Let them shop at thrift stores.

I figured that... but the fact is, it IS a valid discussion point.
There's lots of readily available, inexpensive X (food, clothing, housing,
etc)... hell, they're putting in inexpensive clinics at multiple drugstore
chains.
