What I want to know is, what is the party of the governor in the key
swing states?

Like it or not, electoral fraud is an American tradition. The right
of the states to run their elections as they see fit is guaranteed by
the Constitution, and it is perfectly OIK for the campaign chair of
one of the candidates to be in charge of the election. No other real
republic has such a crazy arrangement, but there it is, a relic of the
past.

So to get an idea of who has an upper hand in electoral fraud this
year, just find out the party of the governor in each of the key swing
states. Multiply by electoral votes and sum. Anyone care to do
this? I'd like to know.
