So, if your 20-year old son with no record hacked someone's yahoo e-mailhacked

By the way Mike, you do realize that Palin has a habit of using
non-government e-mail accounts to conduct state business. Not to excuse
the hacking of her e-mail accounts, but what a joke that this is someone
running as a maverick reformer:
First, your whole e-mail is an attempt to excuse the guy who hacked her
account and you be. Second, what does it have to do with John McCain or
Palin's extablished record as a reformer?
It shows that Palin is more of a Bush clone than a reformer. Using a
private e-mail account for state business is a page out of the Karl Rove
playbook. Rove cooked up the idea of using an off-site e-mail address to
confound investigations of his Bush administration activities. (In 2007,
the White House admitted that Rove and other officials had used Republican
National Committee addresses for some of their correspondence; as a
result, the White House said it couldn't track down a trove of e-mail
messages requested by congressional investigators looking into those fishy
U.S. attorney firings.) In June, Andrée McLeod, a Republican activist in
Alaska, filed a public-records request for copies of all e-mails sent
between two of Palin's aides, Ivy Frye and Frank Bailey. (McLeod suspected
the aides of various ethical violations.) Palin's office parted with four
boxes of e-mail, but it refused to disclose more than 1,000 other
messages, claiming executive privilege.
Palin's penchant for ignoring government scientists because their findings
conflict with her ideology is also very Bush like.
"The governor and her top officials sometimes use personal e-mail accounts
for state business; dozens of e-mail messages obtained by The New York
Times show that her staff members studied whether that could allow them to
circumvent subpoenas seeking public records.
Wow, the print media arm of Obama's press corps finds a way to blame Palin
when some Democrat hacks her e-mail. I'm shocked.
Try to get the facts straight Mike. This article was published last
Sunday. The hacking incident occurred days later.
In 2004, we were warned that if Bush was re-elected, none of our
personal correspondence would be safe from thugs reading through them
for partisan political gain.
And sure enough, that is exactly what happened.
